Take a shoulder-width step forwards towards east with the left foot and place weight 50% on both feet.
Turn the torso only to the left to face north east.
Simultaneously guide the right tip up around the right side towards the left, keeping the right hand at the 'town' position. The right hand continues pushing to the left with the torso’s turning, palm facing away from the body, finishing with the right arm straight and pushing the wand at the 'town' position towards the north-east. The left arm keeps hold of the left tip and travels to the left and downward, also finishing straight, just outside the left thigh. [Figure 45].

Transfer weight to the right foot, turning the left toes to face south.
Turn the trunk to the right to face south.
Move the right hand to the right and lower it to waist level, simultaneously sliding it back to the 'home’ position. The wand is horizontal and close to the body. [Figure 46].
[Figure 46]
Transfer weight to the left foot and turn the body face west, stepping in this direction with the right foot, shoulder-width, in line with right shoulder. Push the left heel into ground so that the left toes face south-west.
Twist the torso to the north-west as you push the left hand to the north-west.
Guide the left tip across the body, upwards with the left hand as it slides down to the 'home’ position. Right arm straightens and finishes up near the rear of the right thigh. Both palms face away from the body. The left hand is at throat height. [Figure 47].
